It’s safe to assume I did a lot of walking while I was in New York. Walking the Brooklyn Bridge was fun despite the biting cold. Along the way, my girlfriend showed me something extremely sentimental and unique to the Bridge – padlocks. Apparently, these locks were hung by lovers devoting eternal and unconditional love (according to Roman tradition) and tossing the key into the river.
